We do this neurotically each time the ash clears the cigar. +/- on whether it is in the head or not.

Was thinking about this post this evening while smoking a SP Belicoso. While I would typically say retro then palate (foot not at all), it sometimes depends on the cigar and its contribution to the two. Some more of one, some more of the other if that makes sense. It’s a good question.
