Popular Post oneizzzz Posted July 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2023 A GLE ABR 20 Fundy. This is my second from a box that has some of the darkest wrappers I've seen on Cubans. Thick wrappers but they burn well. Each one I've smoked has had this intense, deep prune flavor. It is so sweet and the smoke so viscous that, through the retrohale, it gives you enough texture to make it possible to imagine you're chewing on a sweet dried plum. The intensity of flavor is amazing. Some cinnamon spice and dark chocolate in there and the whole experience reminds me of a rich, spiced, rum-soaked fruitcake. I notice the above stated prune flavor in some other cigars with darker wrappers. Definitely a characteristic of the darker Cuban wrapper leaf. For example the Partagas Legado (which has a beautiful dark wrapper) has this flavor, but at lower intensity than this box of Fundies. It makes sense - relative to the total tobacco in each the cigar, the wrapper of this 40 ring gauge cigar makes up a higher ratio than in the 48 ring gauge Legado. Paired with Aberlour 12 on a rainy night while watching the Stanley Cup Finals. 8
Tradesman Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Mine wasn't a crazy limited Cuban like most people here. It was a Nudies Cannonazo VI that I dry-boxed for a week and the 3rd one I'm smoking ROTT before the 30-day rest period (Just couldn't wait). Sweet coffee and almonds all the way from the start to the end. If this is how it tastes like 2 weeks in, can't wait to see how this develops over the coming years. Already bought the 2nd bundle and on the way! 2
Popular Post hrs1 Posted July 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 6, 2023 A MAR JUN 20 Siglo VI & an ARS ENE 19 Fundy were standouts for me last month 7

Everything Cuban Cohiba wishes it could be. CONSISTENT heavy amount of honey and citrus. Some vanilla and coffee. 8 dollars a pop and averages 1:45 smoke time. Heck of a deal. I have gone deep on these. Mostly out of fear that the honey/citrus will disappear in the following years batch. New world's were always an average cigar for me, they knocked this one out of the park. At 8 dollars a piece (in fairness, I keep buying during holiday sales). Cigar even has a citrus glow to it. Just bought a box, excited to try them 1
Popular Post gormag38 Posted July 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 6, 2023 POS MAY 07 BCE Really was a brilliant cigar. If I knew they were gonna be this good I would've bought the whole cab instead of a fiver. 😪 7
