Namisgr11 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Anyone had the N1 Lancero recently, with the little bit of age on it? I just acquired some and am resting a pack, and was curious about how this has been aging. 2

I’m also buying more because I think they’ve got good potential. Not 2021 level yet but I’m more hopeful now than I was a year ago. 2 3
NYGuido Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Smoking my first one of these ever. Comes from the MOFOH/Nudie sampler pack and has been sitting in my humidor at 70F/62RH for 60 days. Going to give a bit of a blow-by-blow and would love to hear if folks think I'm on the right track (though I am not an expert at all). 1 inch in: So far, no sweetness at all, actually, and I am getting something of a corojo type flavor of deep earth. 2 Inches in: Starting to smell cream on the burn line, but the core of the traditional draw is still predominantly earthy. Zero harshness on the traditional draw or the retro. 3 Inches in: Same story really, but construction suffered a bit and I got the filler burning faster and a bit of a tunnel despite smoking slowly and storing at 62RH. Fixed it and will see how we go from here. 4.5 inches in: Okay, I had to put it down. The last 1.5 inches has been a fight to keep the cigar lit and keep it burning evenly, and I have had to touch it up at least 3 times during that period. The flavor isn't getting a fair shake at this point, so I will revisit the other lancero in the sampler in another 2-3 weeks and might even dry box it despite holding it at 62%, which usually I find gives a good burn. 1 1
