I am usually pretty drunk by the time I am boarding international flights and sleeping before the drinks are served. Add blinders and ear plugs and I do not wake up until breakfast 

I used to like the window as I could lean into the window for some head space. Now I prefer aisle seats. If asked nicely I'd try for an upgrade then possibly concede. If they are rude, then I'll say no and did my heels in.
