Popular Post pohlmad Posted April 22, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 22, 2023 I’m excited for these Roulette Marca Reviews because it helps me revisit cigars a year or two later. This is the second Leyenda I’ve had out of this box. I liked the first one but thought some time may do these well. These truly are a premium cigar in terms of presentation and construction. First third started off with a cool, flavorful smoke. The draw was perfect for the entirety of the cigar. This was starting to get me excited that time did do this well! The second third was the star of the show. Really big pillowy clouds of smoke that had a strong cocoa flavor from a typical Montecristo with a baked biscuit/bread taste I get from H Upmann. Really impressive! The last third lost the baked goods flavor and kicked it up a notch on the cocoa/malted chocolate flavor. Still great but I missed the unique combination from the second third. Overall, this was an easy 93-94 vs last time I smoked it I scored it 89. I know there are a lot of people who feel like Montecristo cigars don’t do better with age but I’m feeling like this one may. I would love to hear others thoughts/experiences smoking these after some extra time down. 8 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Along with Partagas Lusitanias, Montecristo 1935 Leyenda is one of the best CCs I've ever had too 👍. I only had 4 year old Montecristo No. 4 for aged Montecristo expereience in the past, but Montecristo cigars seem to be perfect at least after 4-5 years of ageing IMHO 🙂. 3
