Salomones Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 5th AVENUE has registered further vitolas with the German government platform. I cannot assign these at ccw. does anyone have more information on this? 2
NSXCIGAR Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 The Cohiba Siglo II 30th will probably be a humi but "vintage"--I have no idea what that means. Ain't gonna be cheap I can tell you that. The SLR Beli will be a 5th Ave or Alemania ER. The San Cristobal an Austria ER--their only one since the JL Ideales in 2011. The LGC Estelares I hope will be a more standard CDH release unlike the Glorias. Monte Brillantes will apparently be the next Chinese Year release. Hoyo Destinos no idea. Possibly new regular production? 1 3
Salomones Posted April 19, 2023 Author Posted April 19, 2023 Habanos.com published Lists of current and new Vitolas. I started to sort out the Regionales which not listed on CCW so far. Some Regions are not shown. Can someone name the missing Regions? 1
Corylax18 Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 The Dip Leal Should be a Cuban Regional, but I don't know that for Sure. Eusebio Leal Directed the restoration of Old Havana and became known as "the Mayor of Old Havana" he died in July 2020. If it wasn't such a stupid/lazy ER size I would be interested, but that 54 RG is just too much for me. I hope they spend a bit more time making this one special than they did picking the size. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eusebio_Leal 1
Popular Post ATGroom Posted April 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2023 The Siglo II 30 Aniversario is part of the 2022 release schedule as a ‘Linea Especialidad Vintage’ in a fancy box of 20. I’ve asked a distributor what this means exactly but didn’t get an answer. Under the same heading 'Vintage Products' there are also Monte 1, Monte 2, Upmann Connie 1, Hoyo Epicure 1, QdO Coronas Claro, and Partagas Lonsdales as a ‘Vintage Regional’ line in special boxes of either 10 or 20. Haven’t added these to CCW just because it’s not really clear to me what they are. I’m guessing it's a new line that is a kind of cross between an Anjedos and a Reserva... possibly with a bit of Regional Edition thrown in there. I’ll add them likely after there is a formal announcement and the concept becomes a bit clearer. First I’m hearing about the SLR Belicosos, LGC Estelares, Monte Brillantes, and HDM Destinos. I’m guessing must be 2023 schedule (most of the stuff that was announced at the festival this year were actually 2022 cigars that never got announced due to lack of a festival last year). 5 hours ago, Salomones said: Habanos.com published Lists of current and new Vitolas. Have known about that list of regionals since they appeared on the HSA website a year or more ago, however didn’t add them to CCW as I didn’t know the regions, packaging etc. Will update them now, cheers. 4 3
Popular Post NSXCIGAR Posted April 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 20, 2023 The Punch SS1 will be a Thailand ER. Pretty good chance Rob will get his hands on that one. 5
benfica_77 Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Portugal had the SCDH Saudades followed up immediately by the ERDM Templarios and now a JL regional? WTF? I am so confused. They have been getting a new regional every year for the last 3 years. LOL https://www.habanos.com/en/the-habanos-brands-academia/juan-lopez-brand/ Its a picture of the ERDM templarios on the web page 1

Portugal typically had one every 2nd or 3rd year but three in a row is a new one. Austria hadn't had one since 2011 and Thailand's getting their first, so that's good. They've also been cranking out the ERDM ERs lately and I've smoked most of them--L'Epoque, Templarios, B2, Grand Marshall. The only one I liked was the Grand Marshall. The L'Epoque was the worst. Totally tasteless. 1

Like a box of PSD4 and vacuum pack it for long-term storage.

In fact there's one on BR now. Market seems to be low $500s. I'd rather spend $500 on those than $400 on the Templarios. But I can't argue with the regular production route. Seems like 21-22 D4 is really cooking right now. I've been very happy with pretty much everything recent--especially Connie 2, Distinguidos, La Fuerza, Famosos. 2

It will indeed be the largest German Regional run by far (for years been 60 k sticks or around), with the exception of the latest Señor Henry that was meant to be 180 k, but has never been produced to its full extent (so far...). And, for hat matter, way larger than any current Fundy run. 😂 1
Salomones Posted December 10 Author Posted December 10 The new ER Alemania will be the SLR Belicoso. Boxes of 25. 6.000 produced. About 500€. 2
