Popular Post RedLantern Posted March 26, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 26, 2023 The first time I ever smoke cuban cigars was back in 2016 when my wife and I had a nice 3 week trip to France. The star of that trip, cigar wise, was the BBF and I was elated to grab a box finally last year! A very nice looking cigar with a pale and silky wrapper. Bit of a firm draw on this one - I wish I had brought my perfect draw with me. Bevs: Coke, Coffee Tunes: Jerry Garcia Band Initial tasting notes: Chocolate, leather, bitter coffee. LOOONG finish. About an inch in and I'm getting big time twang. Firm white ash. Later on salty leather, molasses and burnt sugar The ambient smoke from this is extremely aromatic, it really reminds me of the taste and smell of latakia, for those familiar with pipe tobaccos. A wonderful cigar - 1:30 smoking time and a high 92 points. Might have bumped up if the draw were better! 5 1
