Montecristo No.2 UTL MAY 19 (T5RW)

This was one of the first two boxes I bought, and I was not wowed back in 2020 when I first got them (seemed a bit harsh) so they mostly live buried in my cooler. A few years have definitely done these some good, but flavor wise they're not exactly in my wheelhouse.

Smoking notes:

Cream, cedar, white pepper

Perfect draw, clean burn, but does not hold ash well. 

Later, toast, burnt carmel

90 pts solid cigar but just not my preferred profile and still comes across a bit muted

No coffee or chocolate?  Those flavors are so dominate to my palate with this cigar.

Nope not for me, but I might not have the most representative box, and I've never had one from a different box!

I haven’t had a huge variety but I’ve had No 2s range from creamy chocolate coffee bombs to cedary and slightly citrusy. Always seemed to have no true DNA to me
