The color of the bands looks off. Hard to say for sure because cameras don’t perfectly reproduce colors, but it looks too white. Davidoff is cream colored and not quite as saturated.

Yes, I think people attribute the true color to age when it was actually that off-white cream. 

Also the box stamping is pretty rough. I doubt they would let a box of Dom Perignon that looked like that out the door. Looking at an actual box the stamping is much more refined. And also the warranty seal is on the wrong side of the box.
