El Presidente Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Gorgeous wooden case no doubt, but what is the reasoning for the holes?
BrightonCorgi Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Are these meant for European or Caribbean style cigars?
vladdraq Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 yeah, beetle holes. they chew through the cigars and the first wall, died inside of exhaustion. 1
Popular Post Nevrknow Posted March 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 6, 2023 It appears you have a choice. Holes out to vent. Turn it 90* to seal it off. It is beautiful. I'd have it. 👍 5
Nevrknow Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Now that I think about it. I have some leopard wood....... Should be easy to make. 1
Dr vonPuffenberg Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 Do the holes go all the way through the round piece?

Fezztone Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 Looks like the round piece with the “made in” is not lined up. Maybe you can twist that apart and add a humidifier and then align the holes over cigars in the case?
Dr vonPuffenberg Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 I think the "made in" part isn't lined up because it was cut into 2 pieces to allow the drilling to make it hollow, and then glued back up. In the pic where the round piece is out of the case, it doesn't seem to appear that there is any light illuminating the inside of the "tube" which would indicate the holes go through. Maybe you can drip a few drops of water inside and turn those holes down to add humidity? If they do go through, Nevrknow has a good theory.

Looking at the way it's made, I'd guess the holes don't go thru. Humi feature, as @Nevrknow suggested...
