It was happening every where in Havana, all last week. Probably someone picking up a final order on their way home from the festival.

It almost looks like an "In Process" shot. There are three varying levels of stickers applied to those boxes. All the same could be a messed up master case, this looks more like evidence of the crime.

Beyond the un tagged boxes, someone is saving bands to be re-used. Finding genuine boxes, the days are numbered. When the LCDH's start to pervert a quality item like other places ( ?    ) have. Game over. It will be gone forever. To much doubt. FOH opens up for me and I'm stocking up until I can't any more. Then I'm done.

I have never seen this before. I am more than open to receiving a reasonable explanation from them.

My thinking is of course jumping the firearm but my logic is if this goes public it will tarnish them all. Slow road to hell. So to speak.

Personally not afraid. I only buy from you Rob so I don't worry.  I have only a few more boxes I want and I think I'm done. 
 

But seeing this, I couldn't see any justification for ANYTHING in this photo.

I bet the pictures on the wall are real. Maybe. 😂

You saw boxes in Havana with no seals or stickers? And why only transit stickers on a few of these Tijuana boxes?

And why would any "special buyer" accept boxes with no warranty and serial?

No, No. I saw stacks of "special" boxes all over the place.

But the band/sticker thing, yes. Real Cohiba bands could be had for $2 a piece a few years ago. Last week, it was $7-$10 depending on the band. Most other brands are $1-5$ a band. There were/always is boxes and boxes of them available.

Same with all the stickers and other "window dressing" I'm guessing most/all of the packaging in the original photo is real. I wouldn't even be surprised if they had real cigars in them at some point. 

The more I look at the above photo, the more it looks to me like they're filling or refilling legit boxes.

I’m a little astonished they left this out where anyone could see it. The magazine stack makes me think this is a public area. Then again it also looks like an office. Anyone been to that store who can identify where this was taken?

It’s a cheating “chinchal” operation outside Cuba. That would be my logical explanation for it.

I saw several of these same naked boxes in Cancun last April. I asked the clerk about them. He told me they don’t put anything on the boxes anymore. Needless to say, I turned and walked out.

It’s not like Im buying any cohibas anymore but sheesh. It will only be a matter of time before this flows downhill to the other Marcas. Fraudster gonna fraud. Those DC selling on BR for 750-1000/box. .  .Makes me kinda sick. Wonder if Habanos will try to address, if not it could be rough all around. If you can’t trust an LCDH to sell legit smokes the brand will have issues.

hmmm，I was plan to have trip to Cancun and visit one of the LCDH. This picture makes me should not go any of LCDH at Cancun(maybe that is wrong decision)
