Habanos S.A. has announced a new cigar for Vegueros called CentroGordos. It measures a 3 15/16 (100mm) x 54, a new vitola for the Cuban cigar world that will also be called CentroGordos within Cuba’s formal vitola naming system. Like other Vegueros, it will come in a 16-count metal tin instead of a wooden box.

I foresee these running like $9 a piece at a minimum, which is way more than anyone should be spending on a Nub.

My thoughts exactly! 😆.

Could be Habanos knows they lost (or are in the process of loosing) alot of new customers (and existing customers) due to the price increases. Having a new Open vitola and Vegueros vitola opens the door for the laymen in the world to keep buying. Just a thought. 

Personally I have no interest what so ever in the SLAM and this new Nub...I'd much rather see BCG, or HdM DD come back. Sigh....pipe dreams unfortunately.

I'll try one if offered, but they don't sound appealing.  I'd rather them sell Vegueros blunt wraps if Habanos wants cater to a younger crowd.
