That is very sad to hear. Is there any government support at all for these farmers who need to rebuild? It seems like they are truly stuck if they can’t plant without a barn or build a barn without income from farming.

Of course 8 to 10 years is totally contingent on the fact that no other natural disasters or anything else unforeseen happens within the country. And as we all know, sh*t happens all the time.

Carlito Robaina showed me some unseen pics of the aftermath from Hirochi's the other day. There was not a structure not in scattered sticks on the ground. Total devastation.

I'll be out on Tues to see how much progress has been made.

Very curious to hear about your trip out and back. It’s such a mess.

Get that supplement @El Hoze told us about. I did and hopeful. Hey if it worked for him? I'm all in for a try.

It’s going to be a lean time in the CC world after they run out of leaf they’re rolling now. If they’ve lost crops that were curing last year, barns aren’t up and they’re losing the very farmers and rollers making the products, can’t imagine supply will be returning to prepandemic levels anytime in the next 5-10 years.

That's a sad thought for everyone involved. Hopefully there are better fortunes ahead.

Time for an eye check-up, probably.

Exactly why El Presidente has made alternate plans with the nudies cigars. A businessman always needs a Plan B.
