Popular Post tywindsor44 Posted February 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2023 I apologize but I this cigar was a gift from a wonderful friend and I didn’t write any information down regarding date or box. I asked myself what makes a good cigar, a great cigar? Is it the lounge? The comfort of the chair you choose? The drink? Nope. I think it’s all about the company. The people you pick to light that stick with will take an average stick to a incredibly great stick. My company for the evening is my brother in law at our favorite lounge in the world: churchills @ the brown palace in Denver Co. This is my first supremos. I’ll do my best for the review! The cold draw is incredible. Earthy notes with a chocolate factory on the back in. Definitely some unique flavor that I’m not sure I can quite put my finger on. The first 3rd: On the inhale there some nuttiness, sweetness but mostly a robust spiced chocolate tobacco flavor. Pretty heavy on the exhale with notes of earth and cedar. Second 3rd: The nuttiness has left and more of the chocolate and cedar has come into play. Great construction and easy to inhale. Absolutely wonderful flavor. Small side note: I’ve had some pretty rough Cubans in terms of how the draw is. This cigar probably ranks #1 in terms of how perfect it really is to smoke. I barley have to do the work and it’s producing wonderful ,thick, dense clouds. Last 3rd: The chocolate has left the room and a very solid cedar and some slight bitterness and a smooth leather flavor. Overall: 88/100 Has anyone had these before and what do you think? NSXCIGAR Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I've had a couple. Enjoyed them very much. An excellent Monte. Seemed like a combo of the DE and PE. 3
Edicion Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Nice review. They nailed these. Great Monte flavors that don't evolve but it doesn't matter. Curious to know what they will be like in 3-5 years. 1
