We're certainly going to find out.

Personally, I thinking CHOOSING to part ways with not only a First Ballot hall of fame Head Coach, but also a First Ballot Hall of fame Quarterback will be the stupidest mistake the guy ever makes, a guy that's made A LOT of stupid mistakes.

He isn't a head coach because he's a knucklehead, he has been for a long time. It has nothing to do with his race, that's such a lazy, ignorant position.

Imagine if, today, an NFL coordinator was accused of strangling a female parking attendant who had the temerity to tell his friends not to pee in public. The guy's got a rap sheet a mile long, but its his skin color that people don't want to deal with? He only had 1 year of employment in Colorado in the last 20 years for a reason, everybody here knows about all this stuff.

Why would he want to go to this organization? I get that he wants to prove himself but this is not the place to do it. I know, as a Texans fan, I'm in no place to judge about another team's dysfunction, but still...

As a Chiefs fan I wish him the best but having said that if he wants to excel and get out from under Reids wing this is NOT the place to go. They really have no QB and team could be sold any minute.

Guess I look at it conversley.  He gets to run the offense and play calling his way.  He gets the Assistant Head Coach title.  He gets a two year contract.  If he produces maybe a shot at the next head coach either here or elsewhere.  Or he is free to do whatever he wants in one to two years.

I'm with anacostiakat here. Believe it will be a great hire. Will be better with the snake gone and an owner that will not interfere.
