Popular Post Fuzz Posted February 15, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2023 Still dodging that bullet. Waiting for the next booster. Hopefully it is the combined Covid & Flu shot. 5
alloy Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 No. Have not had it. Had a cold and tested myself twice. Nada. So it was a cold.
jakebarnes Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 I haven't tested positive, even when my wife did. I'm sure I've probably had it at some point but never confirmed.
rcarlson Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Not that I know of. Was really sick -- unusually sick in fall 2019. My best guess is I may have gotten it then. I can't think of a reason I haven't had it; don't really care. Wishing I hadn't got the jab.

I'm a little surprised how many FOHers haven't had Covid - although a substantial proportion of infections are asymptomatic, especially among people who've been vaccinated, so some of us probably have in fact been infected without realizing it.

Probably not. At best, severity might have been affected by jab. Transmission and infection, no way. Either way, regretting decision to get jab.

I still don't see why you regret getting it since, if you haven't had Covid yet, you're going to get it eventually and the protection will help and I can't imagine this forum without you 😉! Did you have side effects or complications from the vaccine?

BellevilleMXZ Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Not yet, as far as I know. Wife yes, 1 kid yes 1 no. And all worked through it all.
RichUK Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Not yet, which is very surprising as I have been in a few places where I was convinced I would, including the Platinum Jubilee celebration in London last year where my wife caught it and I did not. No mask wearing at all on the commute into my office and the trains and ruptures are very busy again, can only be a matter of time. 1
