cigaraholic Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I thought the London Underground might get me.....lucky so far.
El Hoze Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 To my knowledge I haven’t had it. Needed to test a bunch of times for travel/work. Would be shocked if I somehow never came into contact with it as I have a (now) four year old son. I’ve been pretty disciplined, however, and been drinking alot of beer and eating alot of oxtail which I believe could make me hard to penetrate/infect.
Marco_011t556 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 i got it back to feb 2022..and i gf living tgt with me, she has infected by me..lol
JustDave Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 My parents were the last ones standing and got it last week.
cbaty08 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I've been lucky enough to evade it thus far. Working from home has it's perks.
Greenhorn2 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Wife caught it when it first came around. I never got sick but never tested for it. I got pretty sick back around Thanksgiving so tested twice and was negative both tests. Who knows?
cgoodrich Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I’ve never had it. Exposed several times (including living with my son when he had it in late 2020), tested several times and always negative. I’m a field service engineer and travel among several states, high probability of exposure. I’ve had a cold and flu, but no Covid. I took the initial jab Sept ‘21, and said screw it after that.
Chas.Alpha Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 No. My wife brought it in the house about a year ago. She was fully vax’d and had a bout for a long weekend. I think my average 1.5 average blood/alcohol level had something to do with it…😳 1 1
Frozen North Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I haven’t had it either. Knock on wood.
cigcars Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 *I was fine, never having been diagnosed as such. It was when I had to go to the hosptal in October and it was while I was there that I caught the COVID! I wasn't prepared for that, having taken my shots and everything. But they tole me - you have COVID! And all I could say was, "WHAT!!??"

There's no telling. But I have strong evidence that my wife and I never had it. We've been tested for antibody levels against the virus nucleocapsid protein, which are produced in people infected with the virus but not those immunized against it with any of the spike protein-focused vaccines. It's not foolproof, particularly if given years after a prior infection, but close to it.
Arctic Dude Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Not to my knowledge. I work in a hospital, so have been tested lots, but nothing confirmed to date.
gormag38 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I've been sick a handful of times since 2020 but still have yet to come down with the rona. I've tested myself more times than I can remember but always come back negative. In my state, Michigan, we've taken a decently hard stance on mask mandates and the like. So that could be part of the reason why I've yet to have it. I never stopped working in person too, but work with a fairly small group of people (15-20 or so). Or who knows, maybe I had it and was just asymptomatic?
BrightonCorgi Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 So far, my mom is the only one I know who hasn't had Covid. She's not going out of her way to avoid it either. I've had Covid at least 3 times.
KCCubano Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Pretty sure had it last May although I was never tested. Five days straight of high fever and could not sleep or get out of bed to eat. Have had the two shots. My sister who has had booster is very ill now with Covid. Her husband has as well but only minor symptoms.
VictorEremita Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I haven't had cold-like symptoms since 2019. Covid has been in the household twice (for weeks), and I've been exposed severally at work. But never tested positive nor been symptomatic.
ChangBang Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Nope, I attribute it to my vitamin regime and smoking - think I saw a study a while ago saying smoking prevents it? Got the j&j shot and booster. Maybe coincidence but went to France last Feb with friends sharing a apt, meals, drinks, etc. I was the only one who didn't catch covid. Vitamins and smoking right🤔
Perla Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Covid, Flu, Cold free since 2018. It’s really rare that I get sick. Never tested positive. Testing was on a regular basis, as my company was very rigid on that. Asymptomatic is always a possibility. Took the 2 jabs plus the booster. Was wearing my mask, washing hands and all the recommended Blabla. Didn’t avoid crowds. Were hugging & kissing friends. All the neighbours around us had it, some quite badly. Did the shopping for them and the chicken soup cooking & delivery service. Well I must be a unicorn 🦄 3
Grimlock Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 No Covid so far. I did get the shots when each became available.
Çnote Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 No Covid. Been customer facing the entirety of the pandemic. Got vaxed as soon as was convenient and boostered 6months late. I don't get sick often, and when I do not for long.

brutusthebuckeye Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 No Covid for me. Seemed like everyone around me got it but I somehow avoided it.
