Blind Review 1 2022 (FRBRW)

For this blind review, I chose a 54 ring gauge stick. I figured it was nice out for once so I could smoke something a little longer.

Cold Draw: Not much just a slight barn yard coming through. Moderate resistance

1/3: Initial light provided a citrus mild flavor and sweet retro. Smoke output and mouthfeel were light. 
 

2/3: The profile didn’t change much until the end of the 2/3. The flavor intensity picked up a bit. Grassy flavors started come through and a very slight bitterness started. The retro picked up a very small amount of spice.

3/3: The flavors coming through are lemony and grassy still. Not too much else coming through. The mouthfeel of the smoke has increased but still light. Occasionally I would get a little bitterness but nothing that turned me off. The increased mouthfeel gave the smoke a slight creaminess.

Vigia?  Grassy/lemon doesn't describe for me, but the rest of your description does.

I didn’t want to give it a rating just because its young and not showing it true colors. Right now I’d give it a 7/10. I enjoyed it nonetheless just wasn’t really complex.

It was QDO 54. It was very young and one dimensional so notes were tough

I actually have a similar experience with all QdO 54 so I guess it's very much depending on getting a good year or box code.
