Due to the cold I have not smoked many cigars in January, but a Montecristo Edmundo stood out above all the rest. I believe it was from a 2020 box but too lazy to go verify

I had a 2012 Bolivar Petite Corona. That just mellowed out to the perfect blend of flavors. Wish I had more than one.

Too close to call among an Espy (MAR MAR 21), Fundy from @SMELTZ and SdC #1 (GSO MAY 06) from @jakebarnes.   FOH trades and vacation cigars are the best

2021 N1 Lancero Colorado Maduro -

Has become my go to cigar - the Colorado rosado and N3 Maduro are good - but N1 Maduro is the apple of my eye

Behike 56 in memory of my friend. It was a banger. 96 points

The stunner was the 2004 HdM DC from  @Colt45 posted about on the tribute thread.  

The runner-up was an Edmundo Dantés Conde Belicoso - ER Mexico (TOR Dic 2016).  Not nearly the age, but wow on many levels.     

Both are in the running for "Best of" for me for 2023.

You (all) are not going to believe this, but this February 2018 Sancho Panza Non Plus surprised the hell out of me, yet in a good way!

Not too far behind was this majestic Arturo Fuente Don Carlos - Eye of the Shark cigar. I now understand why it was Cigar Aficionado's 2017 No.1 cigar of the year.

I'm right there with you. I know it sounds crazy, but... every time I smoke the N1 Maduro, I get peppermint and dark chocolate flavours. Reminds me of Fry's Peppermint Cream candy. 

Love Rob's tagline for Puro Desnudo... "FOH member approved cigars". Brilliant. Totally looking forward to the Cañonazo Amante VI coming out in late March. Siglo VI meets Upmann Connie B - I'm in.

For January it was a 22 H. Upmann NO. 2. Best No. 2 I have had with Cuban twang and spice hitting hard in the second half

All it needs is a little age.  Such stellar AF's are amazing with some years on them.  (IMO, of course)  

I smoked one of these "fresh" once and pretty much got chased off the back deck by my wife, who could not understand why anyone would be near such a thing   ...It was pungent.  Just give it 'em time (IMO).
