El Presidente Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Your Best Cigar Experience of January 2023/The past 30 days? That cigar that you can't quite get out of your head for all the right reasons
Ardan Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Due to the cold I have not smoked many cigars in January, but a Montecristo Edmundo stood out above all the rest. I believe it was from a 2020 box but too lazy to go verify 2
Tunkat92 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 I had a 2012 Bolivar Petite Corona. That just mellowed out to the perfect blend of flavors. Wish I had more than one. 2
Popular Post hrs1 Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 Too close to call among an Espy (MAR MAR 21), Fundy from @SMELTZ and SdC #1 (GSO MAY 06) from @jakebarnes. FOH trades and vacation cigars are the best 9
Popular Post SingleBarrel Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 2002 LGC MDO3. Pure bliss! 7

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 Behike 56 in memory of my friend. It was a banger. 96 points 14
Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 The stunner was the 2004 HdM DC from @Colt45 posted about on the tribute thread. The runner-up was an Edmundo Dantés Conde Belicoso - ER Mexico (TOR Dic 2016). Not nearly the age, but wow on many levels. Both are in the running for "Best of" for me for 2023. 5
Popular Post Chucko8 Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 Was for sure this Cuaba 20th anniversary stick 10

Popular Post Chibearsv Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 Easy one for me - GR Sir Winston was absolute perfection and will be hard to beat for the year. 16

Popular Post JohnS Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 You (all) are not going to believe this, but this February 2018 Sancho Panza Non Plus surprised the hell out of me, yet in a good way! Not too far behind was this majestic Arturo Fuente Don Carlos - Eye of the Shark cigar. I now understand why it was Cigar Aficionado's 2017 No.1 cigar of the year. Full reviews will be posted soon in my upcoming 2023 Smoking Blog. 19

I know it sounds crazy, but... every time I smoke the N1 Maduro, I get peppermint and dark chocolate flavours. Reminds me of Fry's Peppermint Cream candy. Love Rob's tagline for Puro Desnudo... "FOH member approved cigars". Brilliant. Totally looking forward to the Cañonazo Amante VI coming out in late March. Siglo VI meets Upmann Connie B - I'm in. 2

SMELTZ Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 For January it was a 22 H. Upmann NO. 2. Best No. 2 I have had with Cuban twang and spice hitting hard in the second half 2
Popular Post oneizzzz Posted February 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2023 I'll take any chance I can get to agree with FOH's Man of the Year, @JohnS. The cigar I really can't stop thinking about is this Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark: 7 2

Such stellar AF's are amazing with some years on them. (IMO, of course) I smoked one of these "fresh" once and pretty much got chased off the back deck by my wife, who could not understand why anyone would be near such a thing ...It was pungent. Just give it 'em time (IMO). 1
