Partagas Series D6 (no box date) (SRW23)

I decided to light up this Party D6 during halftime of Eagles/ 49ers game. Sorry I opted out of the selfie not sure you guys are ready to see this face yet.

1/3: The draw on this stick was extremely lose. This make the smoke rather has but none the less I got the classic partagas “paprika” flavor coming through but thats about it.

2/3: The smoke is starting to mellow out some. This allows some creaminess and that classic cuban twang to come out. 

3/3: The draw for some reason becomes regular and I can definitely tell I’m smoking a partagas now. Barnyard flavors come through and a slight creamy finishes. Occasionally I get some paprika. The flavors are balanced and the smoke is thick. Unfortunately by the time the flavors were balanced this short smoke was over.

Final Notes: I don’t know why the draw was so loose on the first two thirds nothing seemed off by the feel of this stick. This resulted in some harsh puffs. If this whole stick smoked as good as the last third it would have been 90+ point smoke.

Nice review. Love the blend. I always start with exacto knife X cut on these as prone to loose draw.

Never heard of doing that before! I couldn’t believe how loose the draw was and it felt tightly packed
