I was already down 15 LBS (6.8 K) when the comp. Started and have lost another 5 (2.2 K) since it started. I plan on losing another 10 lbs and then just work on maintaining. I’ll still be overweight b

211 lbs as of this morning. Grateful for this challenge to be motivation! My goal is 195. I've never been this thin as an adult and I haven't been under 220 since high school!

I’m not in on this competition but.. I got an A1C result back on June 11th 2022..I was 5ft-11in and 235lbs… that day I stopped all carbs and sugars .. only eating meat and  vegetables since then..As o

211.9 today, down 1.5 lbs from the start, but I've been consistent with the weightlifting and can see changes. Was on "vacation" visiting my wife's family in New Hampshire two weeks ago and took most of this week to get my life back together and back in the habit, but I did! Interested to see what my body comp scan at the end of the month reveals.

Down 3 pounds from start date by some dumb luck. Had 3 or so solid weeks and fell off hard with out of town friends visiting and another occasion that I used to justify blending these two events together into one long binge.

Coming into our final week of the Fat bastid Competition for 2023

How are you guys tracking? :cigar:

Well, weight-wise my body is doing some really weird things. The scale has gone up almost 2 kg in the last 5 days, but my measurements have continued to go down! I keep really good track of my weight fluctuations and that's  a really dramatic outlier! I haven't been wayward or anything like that either. I'm was never going to "win" this thing, but I've accomplished my #1 goal which was to get back in the habit of strength training, and improve my body composition. I'm getting my 2nd body scan next week so I will share what changes that reveals!

Slower progress than expected. Between a few colds and issues with my feet / knees. Walking on concrete all day didn’t help my knees recover. Still down around 5-6 pounds.

Down about 10 lbs last I saw. A lot slower progress than I expected. I've spent most of February/March dealing with a few health things so it's been an uphill battle.

Started out strong, or at least making strides with which I could be happy. Then came March. I was sick for most of this month, and haven’t managed to do much, so I don’t even want to weigh again until the end of this week.

Feel horrible that I missed the first week of March update. I've been doing extremely well. Cutting calories and carbs + boosting gym time has worked wonders (who would have thought!).

Running a 1500 calorie deficit with sub 10 carbohydrate diet. Have only drank once, and broken diet twice. Lifting 5 days a week and cardio 7 days a week.

My weight at the beginning of March was 278.3, so down 25 lbs. Can't wait to see what the end result it, even if I'm most likely not going to achieve my original goal

Inconsistently down about 9 pounds (217 -> 208). Doesn't sound like a winning effort but starting to line the right routine up so I'm thankful for the competition to get started!

Got my follow up scan today and I'm very happy with the results!

Body fat down 3.2%

Fat mass down 2.45KG

Lean mass up 4.15KG

My #1 goal was to add to my lean body mass and I did that in spades! Over 9lb lean body mass gained in 2.5 months!

Great to see about 5lbs of fat loss as well, despite the fact that I was not at all focused on that or restricting calories in any way. I even had a week of vacation crap eating in there :)

I think I will schedule another scan for the middle of June, so another 2.5 months from now, to see where I sit at the start of the summer.

Came in today at 209.6, which I am pretty happy with. Still not big on activity but diet seems to be working well. Hoping I can get to 200 in the next month

I’m down into the low 240’s, which is AWESOME!!!! I don’t think I’ve weighed less than 250 lbs for about four years. I would love to get into the upper 230’s by the end of this week, and I think I just might make it.
