Popular Post Chucko8 Posted January 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2023 I’ve found myself gravitating towards the robusto size cigars of late. My buying habits have been robusto and petite formats of. These Galanes I’ve found to be very good from this box so far. The construction on them is very good. I cut the end of and try the draw. It’s firm just as the other 5 from this box have all been. Opens up with a buttery feel and has milk coffee notes. This remains and soon in joins a pastry bready feel with light woody notes. The draw has a firmness to it but easy burn that has a pleasing straight line to it. The ash holds on rock solid which to myself demonstrates the construction quality. Moving into the 2nd third and a sweetness becomes prevalent which is butterscotch like. The notes from the first third all still playing along though the wood flavour has strengthened. Into the final third and coffee has picked up intensity but balanced with the butterscotch. In summary a very pleasant smoke and very pleased with the development this far on these. This took me 80 minutes to finish up which is similar to the previous ones. Happy to have half a box left and another which is unopened and tucked away for a rainy day. 17 1

Edicion Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Nice review! I got a box recently and been very happy so far with them too. Wish there was more availability of them. 1
Popof4 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Yeh, as stated very nice review. My luck is not as good as yours with a box of Galanes EBO Dec 2020. I'm 5 in and 1 was enjoyable 4 not as much. Plagued by inconsistency, differing density through the stick with tight spots and wonky burns. Taste wasn't that consistent either. It's the ups and downs of the game I realize, and the differences between RAT and EBO torcedors. 1
tywindsor44 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 This is a great review. I’ve never had one of these sticks and after reading your review it definitely peaks my interest!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Perhaps as you mentioned the fortune may have lay with the differing rolling houses. Believe as mentioned by @Edicion it’s a shame that we haven’t seen as many offerings available as been hoped for on this vitola also for some further analysis will be helpful 1
Popof4 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Agree. I bought 2 boxes and am now into my second box. And, congratulations on your prize winning review! 😎 1
Ford2112 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 I am sitting on a 22 box for a couple years. 1
