Diplomaticos ,  initially I thought alright okay. How many cigars does Diplomaticos fly under its banner 1 ........yes no maybe so. I dont know anymore.

I purchased the PCC jar from Roberto for the 20 th anniversary with ashtray now that was impressive. Representing 5 brands I think . A class act !

Hopefully PCC got Phoenician's permission to use their 30th anniversary band. Vanilla Ice would struggle to find the differences.

I wonder why it isn't a 5 1/8" x 58 packaged in 88,888 888 format boxes. 8s sell out yesterday!

A long Panetela would of been nice 38 x 192 . Style and grace. This is where we are at I guess.

Yeah . I think they can do  a little better for milestone release cigars though. Has anyone even seem the Sancho below ?

Dear god look at them bands!

My first thought before I saw your post (queue 2001: A Space Odyssey) “My God, it’s full of bands!” 😂

Have habanos monetised release announcements? Maybe they are smarter than us all. So far things they announce have almost never turned up anywhere. And things they haven’t said a word about has hit shelves. 😂😂😂🤔

I’ll wait for the sanchos.  I won’t hold my breath.

you mean you've gone Dippy Dappy?

Quite. The quiet unknown brand that dwindled quickly from a simple batch of skinny cigars back to a lone ranger. Then the regionals started to appear. I've not tried any of the regionals I think. An old Lonsdale and a handful of no.4's captured my heart. They since turned into the fat squad. Spearheaded by this release. The Joker of the pack now with just one brother remaining. Dippy has gone Dappy indeed.

This is the key point for me.  I love my Dip 4s 3s etc.  The blends shines in a 42 RG, as it intensified what can be an airy subtle flavour. profile     In fat montescos etc, it all becomes a bit flabby and characterless.     But thats just my take,

I seem to have an Excelencia somewhere if i can find it! 😁 And am hoping to try a catchily named 'PCC 30th Anniversary' and that may be that.

I did buy some El Diputado as @ElJavi76 suggested they had a sweet custard note......I didn't need more encouragement, and got a box.  They definitely had that custard note, but were a great deal stronger than I expected.   Although a montesco, the full bodied take on the Dip blend made them interesting to me.
