Chucko8 Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 This pyramide has a lovely sheen on it and no soft spots to the touch. Slice off the end and the cold draw gives a woody mustiness. Upon lighting and then taking the first draw, I’m greeted with cedar and coffee. I sit back and enjoy and a touch of milk joins with that coffee. Further along the 1st third I get some salted toast notes along with a twangy spice. Moving into the second third and that coffee cedar and salty toast is still dominant. There is a touch of sweetness which is cherry/sultana like starting to join in with that light twangy spice. The construction on this is showing its class with the ash holding on nicely until just prior to the last 3rd before dropping off. Final 3rd sees the coffee picking up intensity. The toast feels a little more buttery and salty now. The aforementioned sweetness is till lingering in the background and more so noticeable on the retro. Really picks up towards the end to a charred sultana like taste. The smoke coming out is thick and rich feeling on the palate, it’s a touch over medium to my taste. I feel like this stick would age perfectly, the oil that is gathering just behind the burn line all the way on this cigar is impressive. Must try to leave some of this box for 5 more years. Cracking stick and I’m glad I chose this to help warm me up tonight! 2
