Popular Post joeypots Posted January 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 16, 2023 Sunday afternoon. Football and a cigar are needed to cope with the depressing weather we have endured for the last week or so. No catastrophic weather like California right now, It’s 34 degrees F, 25 mph wind, drizzle, sleet, snow, or rain and simply a day to stay inside. The dogs don’t even want to go out. The cigar is a nice looking Julieta #2. I used the big punch on my Victorinox cigar tool to open up the cap. A little tight on the draw but with a gentle bite it opens up perfectly. Opening up a little mild the cigar increasingly produced flavors of leather, earth, something sweet, and rich full tobacco. Construction was first rate, an even burn and no touch ups, a little age works wonders with burn and draw issues. I’ll give it my second highest rating, 4.5 stars, I liked it a lot. It was fun to watch the Bills and Dolphins duke it out. I have a soft spot for Buffalo. Tony Romo, I think, is good football analyst and I like it when he’s in the booth. All in all it was a good Sunday. 5
JohnS Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 @joeypots, that sounds like a wonderful cigar-smoking experience. It's almost like the cigar itself doesn't matter when the circumstances align themselves like that. I don't know whether it's a Bolivar Coronas Gigantes or not, but for the sake of this outing on Sunday afternoon, I want to be as that would be just ideal! 👍
MisterCigar Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Thank you for the very interesting review. Was that a Partagás Churchill de Luxe?
