I am offering you a choice of 5 cigars. Same blend (just over medium). We are going to be together in an outdoor lounge for the next 70 minutes or so but you can stay longer.  There is a choice of champagne, good sangria, nonalcoholic drinks, wine (red and white), spirits. It is 3PM and there are 8 of us in total. 

 

Which cigar are you choosing?

With 8 people, there is sure to be a lot of talking, a lot of listening and a lot of Laughter, so I need a thicker ring gauge cigar that I dont have to worry about relighting and checking on. Piramide for me, but I love a Lonsdale.

Just had this situation on New Year’s Eve well actually New Years morn since we did not start the cigars until after 1am. Over a friends house 4 of us were smoking outside. Picked Lonsdale - since closest to lancero. actually brought over mix of the N1. Even the non smokers were not put off by the aroma.  Nice to try both flavors in same morning. Went well with champagne and the crappy weather.

It was between Robusto and Montesco...

Robusto won out.  I don't smoke anything with a tapered tip anymore except the occasional 109 or BBF.  Lonsdale would have been my tie for 2nd along with the Montesco.

Montesco just over a Piramide

I would have gone for a DC or Julieta N2, I think Lonsdale or Lancero for outside smoking going blind on how windy it is a more volatile bet. A pyramid will do the job no doubt and should give me more leeway than a robusto. 😅
