Popular Post cigaraholic Posted January 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 1, 2023  A quiet New Years Eve for me, probably a good thing. Tomorrow promises to be a major attack on the Champagne region, with minor assaults on the Napa Valley and Bordeaux 🤕 It’s raining, I’ve got a fire going, time for a cigar and the first college playoff game. This will be the third Connie A I’ve smoked, all have been gifts from members. The first two I got soon after their release, wasn’t overly impressed with them, especially for the price. This one looks much better, has my wet dream colorado maduro Upmann shade wrapper. It’s shinny, smooth, has a little ribbon depression, but is well filled. Opening flavors are buttered toast, sweet oak and rich tobacco. Two puffs in I know I’ve got a great cigar, I’m wishing this was a Giant Corona. It’s medium body, the smoke is silky smooth, must have some age, easy for me to retrohale. Lovely mouth coating sweetness of light caramel and croissant. It’s a dangerous cigar, if this was your first, you’d be hooked for life. The woody flavor turns into nought and a salted roasted peanut finish has me licking my lips, I’m smoking a Pay Day bar. Last third body goes over medium with walnuts, caramel and coffee cake. Fantastic cigar, I only wish this had been my first introduction, I’d probably have a few boxes in my humidor. HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!! 17 1
