I had a lot of great cigars but two that rose above the rest:

EMA ABR 2008 Diplomaticos No. 4 from a box I won on auction from @El Presidente personal stock. Best thing is I still have 22 left. 96 points.

A custom Hamlet in a Cohiba 1966 size that I purchased from Hamlet in 2014. Sad part is I only have 2 left. Not only are they amazing cigars but the fond memories of all the times I spent with Hamlet are also amazing. 97 points.

Been a great cigar year. Best cigar must be a the LE Romeo y Julieta Exhibición No.2 (2000) I had, which I had at 97.

Two other memorable high pointers were a D4 (that box are all 90+-points) and an H Upmann #2 that I got earlier in Dec this year and tried ROTT. I can still recall it, I had a hard time giving it a score but I mentioned in another thread that it was incredible, 94-96 is fair. Honestly not surprised that it got #1 cigar of the year in a list if it was of this quality.

As many are resting their 2021/2022 stock still, once they're sampled, I wonder what will be the best cigars of 2023.

Yes, I'm a quite surprised. It looks like a complete random when it comes to box of tubos. The rest from that box were not even close to 90.
But also having the spreadsheet connected with google forms gives me a chance to rate my cigars right away I will finish them. When the construction, taste and enjoyment is there, you can't cheat :D

Maybe the 2nd or 4th hang with @sr21 who I met here. Smoked the sir Winston which is probably my top cigar of the year. Smoked in my newly set up hillbilly living room in the garage. Followed the Winnie with a Connie 1. Fighting off falling asleep holding the Connie after a handful of bourbons.

Funny how the last cigar for the year was the best, 1st one from the box, a Cuaba Salomones Jun 16. Generally don't pay that much attention when smoking with a lot of people around but this one really got my attention, great from start to finish
