Popular Post yadegari6 Posted December 24, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 24, 2022 My first cigar in 10 days due to a mild cold I caught. With temps being below zero I decided to go for a petit robusto. The garage is always comfortable in the winter when I have my heater running but it hasn’t been tested in temps like this. A trini media Luna sounded perfect for the occasion, this was my eighth from the box with all of them being consistent 91-93 pointers. This particular example today was full of classic Trinidad flavor. It started with an almond and buttery pastry flavor in the first third and continued with the same flavors only more intense and sweet after the first ash and into the final third. The last third saw some spice and cedar ramp into the flavors which tells me a little bit more age would really help get these above the 93 point range. Interestingly I get some parallels between high end fuente cigars and some Trinidad’s as I did today. 92 point cigar today with the Total smoke time at 70 minutes. Wish I bought more when they were under $200 a box as I’m certainly not paying whatever Habanos has these priced at today. 13
El Presidente Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 Before cigarmageddon, these were the top selling Trinidad. Today they are all selling in about the same quantity Excellent review. 1
