Havana, Dec 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's famous Premium (hand-rolled) cigars, the Havana cigars, will now be linked to international music directly through a Spotify channel, according to an official statement released on Wednesday.

 

Jazz, classical music, or instrumental Cuban salsa are among the styles that cigar aficionados will find while enjoying their favorite Habano, the message from the international corporation Habanos S.A. said.

It explained that the company seeks to keep its fans surprised. In this regard, the world’s leading company in Premium cigars is going a step further by joining new platforms with the presentation of its new channel.

Spotify is a Swedish multimedia service company founded in 2006, whose product is the homonymous application used for music playback via streaming (digital distribution of multimedia content).

With this initiative, the company is offering a varied selection to accompany smokers to taste any of the 27 brands in its portfolio, along with a series of playlists composed of the best tracks.

The corporation has more than 300 references within its portfolio, offering a unique experience through different strengths, flavors, and formats, in order to invite to enjoy #MyHabanosMoment through all the senses with a selection of musical pieces with which cigar aficionados will be able to relax, it insisted.

The channel will be updated regularly so as to adapt to the tastes of more and more fans and to the musical novelties in the rhythmic panorama.

The company also plans a special relationship around events such as the Habano Festival (version 23, in February 2023) or global cigar appearances.

With this initiative, the world’s leading Premium cigar company joins two of the most iconic elements of Cuban culture, music and cigars, by fusing the craftsmanship of hand-rolled cigars and the musical tradition.
