The grinch? The grinch is Gandhi in comparison.

Today ken abused one of the kindest ladies i know at a plant nursery I recommended. 296 5 star reviews.....and then came Ken.

"He can't help it your honour "🙄

seriously? as you admitted, in writing this morning, you had no clue what went on. i assure you, some of the worst and rudest customer service imaginable. the nursery is the Monte C of nurseries.

as for five star reviews, spare me. all that means is she has 296 relatives. or owes money to 296 people.

and who takes notice? or gets it right?

as evidence, i give you, ""George Lucas has reached deep into the trove of his self-generated mythological world to produce a grand entertainment that offers a satisfying balance among the series' epic, narrative, technological and emotional qualities." this was the review, from a highly respected publication, about 'attack of clones'.

what about "A slick, fun film that has by no means sacrificed the fast action beats of the first three." another respected publication about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

meanwhile, Time Magazine said "brilliantly executed concept", about, wait for it, Sharknado.

so perhaps we can dismiss idiots reviewing a plant nursery - and who on the planet has the time to sit down to write a review about a plant shop? and why?

but i digress. a disgrace. i will detail at lunch tomorrow.

Dummy post: Ok. I'm trying a food in Oz that americans consider to be repulsive. Vegemite. I'm doing a pure sandwich. That is only butter and Vegemite. No tomato. Pure. So, some butter

that a respected, tolerant member of society who had committed no wrong and done nothing other than turn up to purchase plants should be treated in such an appalling manner is indeed very sad.

....there was a person behind you?

can i sit between Di and AK tomorrow so i do not have to suffer these slings and arrows.

Ken, you know that you are getting close to not being allowed out in polite company.

Slowly but surely you are turning into the crazy cat woman from the simpsons.

1pm tomorrow i believe. Best behaviour required ;)

A Vegemite “sandwich” is best with a decent layer of Vegemite… think the “wrong” way from above how to spread method…. And then a slice of cheese, maybe two even if it’s the shitty Kraft plastic stuff.

Alternatively robs right way is the best way for Vegemite on toast, one piece of bread.

Next time you make bolognese or some red suaefor pasta, take a ladle full out, and mix in like a 1/5 of a teaspoon of Vegemite into it. It’s hard to mix and if the sauce is hot it helps. But I reckon it’s the bomb. I say to take a ladle out so you can try it, befor you love it put a decent dollop into the whole pot 😁

Admit it, Mus. You fell for their new label marketing Vegemite's use outside of biological warfare.

What's next? You gonna tell people Vegemite lattes are fantastic?

In Sydney next week for a bit.  Smoking inside is banned in AUS, right?

Generally correct. However you can be undercover and smoking depending on venue.

Weather (cold) isn't an issue

Didn't realize pride was the weekend we will be there.  Seems like the city will be pretty busy.

I was trying to get to a rugby game but didn't realize AUS has reallllllly gone down the league route instead of union.

You're a touch early for rugby season, both union and league.

Unless you are here for another type of ball sport, then you've come at the right time during Sydney World Pride. :lookaround:

Don't get me wrong, chutney/pickle is amazing, but theres something about the uniformity of the bits in Branston, that reminds me of chunder.

and with that.........enjoy your breakfast. ha!

On the contrary my dear fellow. The uniformity bestows comfort that the machine that processed these pieces is indeed not some living digestation chamber that has been abruptly interrupted.
