Technically, yes because the theme of Christmas bringing people together is expertly examined in this film through all the main characters separating for various reasons. So, maybe this can be labeled an 'anti-Christmas' film because there's no fuzzy and warm conclusions.

Stanley Kubrick also employs many Christmas props in scenes in the background - easy to miss but if you see the film again you'll start to notice them.

In a world..... Where Adam Goldberg and Andy Dick make a Christmas movie....... In a place where they make movies......somehow the 36th addition to the Criterion Films Collection flew under my radar.
