• JRE Aladino Cameroon Lonsdale - Honestly these should be $12 not under $8
• La Escepción Selectos Finos ER Italy 2011 - as close to perfect as I think I've smoked

Cohiba Esplendido.

Not sure of the year because I didn't have the box, but I'm most certain is was <5years.

...as a side note and this may sound odd because it is a short format cigar, but the most memorable one I ever smoked was a Monte #4 back in the early 1990's. The flavor was amazing, not sure what the deal was, but I'll never forget it.

1 in 25 for sure. Have never had a 95+point NC, but maybe that speaks to my love of nuance & subtlety.

My last 95 pointer was a 2017 Sir Winnie.

2005 Sir Winston, kept in my humidor in a tube.  This is, I think, the third time I’ve mentioned this cigar here. I mark them 1 to 5 stars and this was easily the best cigar I’ve smoked in years.

Been smoking cigars since my 20's - 64 now.  there's been a lot of great cigars but very few that make that esteemed list of cigars that are 95 or greater and you can't forget ...

• Last 96 pointer was in August of 2020; a HdM Epicure de Luxe gifted from @Devo ATE AUG-19 - searched for another of these boxes for a long time to no avail.  Still talk about that cigar -  kept getting hints of salt, creme and buttered popcorn - first and only time that's happened.  Probably memorable because we came into the house to tell the wife what I tasted and she told me I was nuts.....
• Before that it was 3 Padron Magnums, 50 x 9" from 1995 that was buried in the bottom of my humidor for years - long forgotten.  On rearranging the humidor found the box with three cigars left and saved them for the next time the boys were visiting.  I remember it was a beautiful, cool Florida evening and we took the Magnums with beer and smoked them in the hot tub.  All 3 of us rated the cigars as 95+ points - superb.
• I'm definitely a greater than a 1 in 100 guy - given the above criteria.

I had two 95+ cigars this year, one was siglo 6 from a ‘20 box and the other was Trinidad robusto extra 

frequency is less than 1/100

1 in 100 for me. Last one though was two weeks ago, a lowly Monte 4. Basically perfection, spot on 95 points. If you had slapped a Reserva band on it you could've fooled me.

3 months ago. Partagas 898 REG JUN 18. I was smoking an average of 10-13 cigars a week last year. Work schedule has changed and I’m now around 1 every few weeks. I enjoy the ones I do smoke a lot more. Or at least I appreciate them more.

I'm trying to slow down on my LGR FEB 18 box. I've had a fair share of epic cigars from this box.

Diplomaticos Bushido probably about 5 years ago. Won a comp on the forum. Was just so complex and tasty. Others may have been just below that but a Cohiba Esplendidos NYE in Borneo 2015 I think and also the Big Bolivar Liberator. Still rate the Cohiba DC LE and Siglo 6 2003 the best I've had but the Bushido wasn't far behind IMHO. Cheers

The 03 box of Sig VI I bought from Czar was full of 95's. The Cohiba DC not far behind

Siglo VI from 2012 and SLR DC from 08 are the most recent for myself.

Loads of 94s.  Only a few ever above 95 for me.  Those memorable smokes that make me groan with every every puff.  Last one, probably this passed summer.  Was a 3 year old Lusitania that just fired on all cylinders for 2 straight hours.

I tried an RA Private Stock 230 the other week. Thought I should give this hard to find and ridiculously expensive cigar a try.

£125 to buy and smoke in the shop.

From the very first draw, it was amazing.

I did not want it to end. 95+ every day of the week, a perfect two hours. I was with a friend who said he just didn’t bother talking to me for an hour, because I wasn’t paying attention to anything other than the cigar.

I have just had my first siglo iv in at least 6 years. EBO JUL 2020. I am trying to decide if it was a 95+ I think it was. Absolutely perfect.
