Tatuaje Brown label Noellas and Especials and Black label Petit Lanceros, Cazadors, and Petit Robbies. Tatuaje is actually a great brand to look at simply because they have a lot of more traditional CC vitolas available than some of the other NC makers (i.e., minutos, PC's, Lonsdales, lanceros, etc). They're the first one I mention when someone complains of NC jawbreakers.

Olivia Cain F lanceros (GREAT bang-for-the-buck)

Oliva Serie V Lancero

Illusione HL Candela (also a lancero for those unfamialr)

Crowned Heads La Careme Belicoso Fino 2022 (something of an LE, but have loved the ones I've had)

I know a lot of NC-peeps are down on Drew Estate, but the Liga Privada no. 9 in the Double Corona is still pretty awesome, and I've really enjoyed the Corona Viva too.

Woah, rogue Gurkha!  Tell us more?  I’ve always considered them comedy cigars 😃

For me:

-d’Crossier Golden Blend 7 Year in Toro (if you’re an Atabey fan, this is a must try!)

-Charter Oak Connecticut Shade in Rothschild or Toro

-Illusione Epernay in any vitola

-Fuente Anejo 46

-Tatuaje in pretty much any linea & vitola

Mixing in many NC's nowadays to make the cuban stash last and let them age to perfection:

1.) Nudies N1 Maduro Lancero - they're 2 years old now and getting almost sweet.

2.) Rojas Street Taco Barabcoa - prefer the short corona 5 ½ x 46.

3.) Crowned Heads Las Calaveras LE 2021

4.) Oliva Serie V Lancero - aged 3 years since I bought them and I get pistachio off these cigars.

5.) Tatuaje Black Label Petit Corona - these are now 5 years old a smoking beautifully.

You noticed that I named only one vitola of a huge brand?
If you are going to try it, it should undergo acclimatization at 72% and become noticeably wet

I just picked up an Oliva Serie V sampler based on recent forum praise.

Pay your attention to the diademas. Officially it is a 2009 limited edition. I don't know if they still use the 2009 stocks, but the diademas from the sampler I smoked three years ago had an awesome nutty taste, characteristic of deep aged cigars of the V series

OHHHH I want to try that so bad! Top of my want-to-try list.  But gotta be honest, the other Atabey/Byron sticks I've tried have been good with excellent construction, but kind of underwhelming.

I've been enjoying Crook of the Crown by Rojas, I'm curious, what are the core flavoris of Street Tacos? Any pepper? Strength?

Rojas Street tacos is one of my change of pace smokes.  I'm not a big fan of the nicaraguan pepper bombs, which is why the majority of my cigar collection is CC's.  However, once in a while you want something different and that's what the Street Tacos is for me.  Was originally introduced to the blend from a friend at a Maryland B&M - started with the Toro size (2-boxes) and now have moved to the Short Corona (3-boxes of 5 1\2 x 46).  Pre-draw predominant flavors are graham cracker, dark chocolate and black licorice.  Upon lighting moves to a medium body - medium strength, sweet & savory flavors - vanilla, black-licorice and pumpkin spices & red-pepper or others say cinnamon.  The first half for me is always a unique red-pepper flavor with the other flavors moving in and out.

I probably grab one of them about once a month for a treat.

This has been an excellent smoke that I almost passed over because it was made by one of the GIANT conglomerates....even though everything seems to be made by some sort of conglomerate these days.

Now with 14 months of humi age the Warped Chinchalle is wonderful. Not for everyone. My buddies dislike it but I find it interesting.
