Anyone else like the cigarillo style cigars? My wife is into the minis which are even smaller than this beautiful humidor box of Cohiba Clubs (3.75x24)

Personally I don't like cigarillos at all. What bothers me the most about them is lack of flavor profile. Even the "good" ones like Cohiba Shorts doesn't work for me. I've tried a couple of times and just gave up not long ago. Maybe I'll get them one day... or not.

I would recommend some Du Maire, Depute, ERDM Demi Tasse.

They are each in a different league to Cohiba Shorts

Now Cohiba Shorts are in a different league to the Cigarillo/Chico crowd. If I was to pick another however, the Partagas Chicos would be the go.

That's good to know because ERDM Demi Tasse caught my eye but since I've had poor experiences before I was not willing to try them out.

My wife is into the Cohiba Clubs.  They certainly pack a punch.  Very robust smoke.  One of the strongest cigars in the Habanos portfolio.  It's basically all leaf.  I smoke 3-4 a year.  I bought a case of Clubs for her years ago.  Like a lifetime supply of 20 boxes..

Light another match for the Chicos. Most consistent cigar made in Cuba. If you like them, good for you. I like them, they have a pungent, punchy taste.

Need more. Chain smoke them.

Love the Chicos. Old school Partagas flavors. Have several hundred going back to 06. Great 15 minute smoke.

Yep, Party Chicos rock. I also really like the Monte Puritos. RyJ Puritos are not quite as good.

Of course all the Shorts are good but shorter and more expensive than the Puritos.

All the Clubs and Minis I've had have been good as well but they only last about 5 minutes. A bit small for me.

With you on that one Ray. Pure tobacco, concentrated flavour.

Smoking quite a bit of Mini Cubanos, here. While the much featured CoSho is nice, it usually leaves me wanting more, as it simply is a tad bit too short a smoke for my liking, and tends to be quite loosely filled. But I am also a big fan of the Partagás Chicos, and particularly of the newer Party Serie Puritos, which is sort of revving up the earthy Party profile (mostly nicer wrappers, too). Serious tobacco and, depending on the situation, enjoyed slow and cool, lasts me 30 up to 45 min on occasion. Way cheaper for regular consumption than my beloved Joyitas... and no draw issues 😅

The RyJ Puritos also is decent (I just received a new “24-count” of them - one stick missing in the sealed carton box... CbC 🙄). I’d say, forget the Club and Mini, go straight to Puritos and Chicos, and perhaps Short if that is your thing.

I exclusively smoke them outdoors and/or while working / during work breaks. There’s a purpose for their existence.

The ones Rob recommends, while surely decent cigars (the Petit Julietas would be the third, mostly overlooked Entreactos remaining in the Habanos portfolio), are indeed playing in a different league price- and quality-wise as handmade longfillers. The ERDM is the best of the pack in my opinion, while “cheapest” (they’ve all become overpriced now).

Smoking one I bought in 06 now. Hard to argue with your assessment of consistency.
