El Presidente Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 clothes smelling of cigar smoke can be an issue for some. Particularly suits/jackets/trousers. I air my jackets/trousers outside for a day or so and it works wonders for me. However I had a client tell me yesterday how he bought one of these fandangled things and that it works a dream in removing smoke aroma from clothes. I had never heard of them before. Too rich for my blood but I thought I would pass it on. Samsung Airdresser 2 1
Chibearsv Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 That seems like a great idea for hotels to have available. 1
MrBirdman Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 A good horse hair brushing of your clothes after smoking will do more than you’d expect to manage odor. 2
Fuzz Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Seriously Rob, you need to tell Di to call me if she is planning on doing any renovations. I have been through complete house renovations with Winnings Appliances. I know all the cool gadgets and gizmos to put in your home. Get that cheque book ready, buddy.

Puros Y Vino Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I find shaking/snapping the clothing takes out most of the aroma. If you get rid of the smoke particles that's more than half the battle. If I have a cigar at work for instance (outside of course). When I come in, I take my shirt in the washroom and snap it like a towel, wash my face and hands and pretty much no one notices that I've smoked.
BrooksW Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I wear nothing but Tommy Bahama (100 percent silk) shirts, and after smoking I spray them with an OTC oder neutralizer...seems to do the trick 1

That's because they're too disturbed to notice since you forget to put your shirt back on. 2
jonnyfromiranny Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Very cool idea! Would love to try one out one day.

Samsung Airdresser having finally watched the video, i have to wonder how the steaming/drying would affect the integrity of the garments, particularly suits. they can be fickle.
nKostyan Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I have this shit from LG. It was given to me for my birthday. Yes, it works, but you won't use it regularly, because you remember about the smell of clothes when you need to put them on. It's easier to take a new one, and throw this one in the washing machine.I think it's better to use this dryer as a tupperdore, so there will be at least some benefit.
patrickamory Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I've come to enjoy the scent. And it's all about accustoming your S.O. to it, so they stop noticing it too! 1
VictorEremita Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 I have small a ozone generator. Works very well for cigar smoke (not why I bought it but have tested). And an order of magnitude less expensive than that gadget above. 2

VictorEremita Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 We all love the smell of a cigar while it's alive (being smoked); it's dead cigars, ashtrays, that I don't like. 2
patrickamory Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 I can't stand the smell of dead cigars or ashtrays.... but I like the smell on my fingers or clothes after smoking. 1
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 I typically store my cigar clothes in a plastic bin. This weekend I had the idea that maybe throwing in a few bounce sheets might help. We will know in a few days.
Ford2112 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 My mom likes the smell on my clothes. If it's good enough for mom...
BrightonCorgi Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Samsung Airdresser is a great and worthwhile device if you wear mostly dry clean only clothes. In the long run it's not an extravagance either.
Chas.Alpha Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Will the same equipment work for the cheap perfume from a "Lap Dance?" Asking for a friend... 3
