Goodfortune Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Super Bowl. Hopefully to watch my 49ers one year, but I would go no matter who the matchup is. 1
Wfriar Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Stanley Cup Final with Toronto Maple Leafs winning no doubt…..
gormag38 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Easy. The Masters. Augusta National just looks like a golfers dream. I will continue to enter that damn lottery until one year I get lucky enough to get some tickets. 🤞🤞 1
shokao Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I 've always wanted to watch a World Cup Football match. Maybe em 26, in US & Canada. Been waiting for an oportunnity to watch a Champions League final as well. 1
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I checked off an NFL game a few years ago, but I'd still like to do it again. Checked off a Formula 1 race in Montreal of all places, but would like to do it again. Have yet to do an MLB game, and a UFC card. Both would be excellent fun. It occurred to me if one was independently wealthy, they could do an NHL game, NFL game, UFC card, F1, and a boxing card all in a Vegas trip. Provided the stars aligned. 1
foursite12 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Fortunate to have ticked many of the boxes. Remaining would have to include Spa and Monaco F1, a classic SEC football matchup, Stanley Cup Finals, NCAA Basketball Finals.
targa88 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I find that it is a bit of a dilemma. There are certain sporting events that I genuinely enjoy. However over time they have transitioned for a variety of different reasons. Not the least of which is they have become literally unaffordable for the average person. I have been a fan of F1 for 40 years. Having had the pleasure and opportunity to see a number of races. The type of competition, the cars and the individuals has changed and not necessarily for the better. I will be curious to see the outcome of the LV F1 street race next year. Something about road races versus racetracks...

Something about road races versus racetracks... I certainly agree. F1 live in particular is more about the spectacle than the competition, at least for the onsite attendees, who can only directly watch what fleetingly passes them by in a two second blur. A major part of the spectacle has historically been auditory--the shriek, live, raised the hackles on the back of one's neck; not so much anymore with the current power units. F1 has historically been drama-filled and cluttered with what often are petty grievances, politics and personality issues. Currently, however, those issues have gotten to the point where they threaten to overtake valid interest in the actual sport. Nonetheless, I'd still spend a bit to get to Spa and Monaco.
bmac Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 The Masters at Augusta National. Had the opportunity years ago and passed. Won’t do that again.😃
jakebarnes Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I already got my first one--I got to watch a World Series victory in Wrigley Field. I also got to storm the basketball court with a #1 team going down to mine. I think the most attainable one is I want to go to the Big East Tournament at MSG. Ideally a year that Marquette is doing well. Had the ability to go in 2020, but it obviously got cancelled. 1
