Picked up this box earlier this year and trying the Perla put me in the mood to try one of these out for comparison.

First third: Right off the bat, extremely tight draw. End up using my PerfecDraw on the entire length of the cigar to open it up. Draw opens up giving smooth earth, dark chocolate, and a rich tobacco note underneath it all.

Middle third: Powdery dark cocoa powder, tobacco, cinnamon and baking spices. Draw somehow manages to tighten up again.

Last third: More of the same. The tight draw just gets frustrating.

Overall: Flavor was beautifully smooth and complex, but the overwhelmingly tight draw made it too hard to really enjoy the experience. 87/100
