Popular Post joeypots Posted October 31, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 31, 2022 After a lovely Sunday morning bicycle ride and a few chores I hit the chair and sparked a RASS from ’16. This has been a terrific 50 cab of cigars and I’ve enjoyed almost every one so far. The RASS may not be my very favorite robusto but it is my go to and I’ve smoked enough great ones to know that it’s never a mistake to have a five year old supply of then around. There are better Cuban robustos available(maybe) that smoke well young; I think the RASS needs time. This one suffered from a bit too much moisture. We lived through an odd fall spike in humidity around here recently and my cigars have suffered a bit. It was not a bitter cigar, it just lacked complexity after having been in my desktop for a few weeks at something like 68% RH. Draw and burn were fine and it was a satisfying cigar but I couldn’t discern more flavors than good old Cuban tobacco. I’d give this one 3 stars, I liked it. I know that a little dry weather will work its magic soon and the cigars will return to a solid 4 star smoke with the occasional 5 just over the horizon. 7
