PRESENTED QUAI D'ORSAY No. 52 IN WORLD PREMIERE IN FRANCE 2022-10-22 01:19 http://static.prnasia.com/pro/media/201402/newsletter/facebook.png http://static.prnasia.com/pro/media/201402/newsletter/twitter.png http://static.prnasia.com/pro/media/201402/newsletter/linkedin20-01.png http://static.prnasia.com/pro/media/201402/newsletter/sina20-01.png Coprova, S.A.S., exclusive distributor of Habanos, S.A. for France, acted as master of ceremonies at the presentation of the Quai D'Orsay brand's new vitola. HAVANA, Oct. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Habanos, S.A., together with its exclusive distributor in France, Coprova, S.A.S., presented last Thursday the new vitola Quai D'Orsay No. 52 (52 ring gauge x 156 mm length) in a magical evening held in one of the most emblematic places in Paris, the Hôtel de La Marine, located in the central Place de la Concorde. Quai D'Orsay No. 52 (Habanos, S.A.) This building overlooks the square itself and has witnessed some of the most important historical episodes that have taken place in the French capital since it was built in the 18th century. It also has a view of iconic buildings such as the Eiffel Tower and the National Assembly and, of course, the famous Quai D'Orsay Avenue, which gives its name to the Habanos brand. Therefore, there could be no better place to welcome the new Quai D'Orsay No. 52. The presentation of this new vitola took place at an exclusive gala dinner where Cuban tradition, elegance and refinement of the place, and French gastronomy were highlighted and accompanied by music of both countries. In addition, the 150 attendees were able to taste a unique vitola such as Quai D'Orsay Secreto Cubano (2016 Regional Edition for France) and, the protagonist of the night Quai D'Orsay No. 52, which they paired with rums of the highest quality. In addition to Habanos aficionados and lovers, the dinner was attended by several personalities such as Cuba's Ambassador to France, H.E. Mr. Otto Vaillant Frias, who said a few words to those present. The representation of Habanos, S.A. at this magnificent event was headed by Co-President Luis Sánchez-Harguindey Pardo de Vera, who stressed "the importance of a market like France not only in terms of sales (one of the world's top markets), but also because of the knowledge and expertise that exists in France about this magnificent product, and because of its aficionados with exquisite taste and constant demand. For all these reasons, and because of its close relationship with the emergence of this brand, France is the perfect place to present the world premiere of the Quai D'Orsay No. 52." "We are delighted that Habanos, S.A., has chosen Paris and French aficionados to present this new vitola of the Quai D'Orsay brand," said Antoine Bathie, Coprova's co-CEO. Enrique Babot, also Coprova's co-CEO, underlined that "Its undoubtedly elegance is what defines Quai D'Orsay and its new No. 52 vitola. It evolves in complexity in a balanced way. An ideal Habano to smoke in company and to end with a refined meal". Tasting notes: Quai D'Orsay No. 52 52 ring gauge x 156 mm length Wrapper: smooth, semi-oily. Draw: correct. Edicion Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 They should've made it a piramides. Perfect size for it 2
Low Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 What the hell are those "tasting notes"? Shoulda just said - 1st 3rd - Good 2nd 3rd - Better Final 3rd - Best 1
Hoepssa Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 First third: balanced, aromatic balance, subtle and delicate expressions. ===> No Flavor Second third: with a very uniform progress of marked aromatic balance. ===> Started to feel QDO DNA, but not yet Third third: enhancing the smoke and intensifying the aromatic character. ===> Still no flavor Strength: light. ===> He tries to notice all of us, it is too light to feel the strength/aroma from a new QDO😁 1 3
Ford2112 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 It's a stupid review for a useless vitola. QDO needs a skinny 4
Tstew75 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Excited for this size, fits the QDO lineup beautifully 2
BettyHumpder Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 a new QD vitola is a win for the marca. happy to see it expanding. 2
MrBirdman Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Gut reaction: Lame! About as useless a release as they could've come up with. Use those rollers and tobacco on QDOCC. Of course I felt the same about the Connie 2 and its blend was distinctive enough to separate it from the others. Maybe that will happen here. Certainly the length offers that possibility.
Popular Post yadegari6 Posted June 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2023 Just sampled the first from my box, I have to say it exceeded expectations and then some. If you are a fan of the qdo marca you will love these. Picked up flavors of Brioche, custard, cream, butter, and some intermingling of clove. The box code is OEG Dic 2022 and for being a 7 month old cigar it was so smooth. I was able to retro the entire time, started mild to medium then picked up some considerable strength in the final third. Also the vitola in my opinion is perfect, much preferred to the 54. 15

I have not sampled one out my box yet but, I wish the ring gauge was 48 maybe 50. I am just glad we got a longer regular production QDO. The Imperiales and Gran Coronas are muched missed. I am excited to try this cigar I just hate to take the first out of my 10 box.
NSXCIGAR Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Tried one a few months ago. Wasn't impressed at all. Rather bland IMO. Could certainly have been an aberration and it was a very early box. Certainly open to trying another but I don't see how it can surpass the 54 which is always very enjoyable and consistent. TheLandCC Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 I sure would like to get my hands on a couple - has anyone seen these flash on 24:24 recently?
cnov Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 A few times recently. 10s and I think I've possibly seen 25s too.
JohnS Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Quai d'Orsay No.52s flashed up on today's 24:24. They went quickly though. 1
David8406 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I smoked my first one of these today…Box code of SER May24 so just 8 months old. Started out quite mild and evolved into a medium-full in strength. Plenty of honey and brioche as others have mentioned. Fantastic cigar! I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. 4
Ford2112 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Hearing all these rave reviews has me curious. I will have to spring for a 10er. 1

I think the near unique thing about them is, is that in general (the ones I've had) is the 1st 2 thirds are deliciously, creamy, buttery QDO goodness, but the final third is like a firecracker, and gets very full. I don’t think they are currently meeting their potential. That final 3rd can get pretty metallic and overwhelming. 5yrs and these will be epic! 3 1
