Popular Post Puros Y Vino
How about a little distraction from current Habanos woes?? 😁 Set aside all the issues Habanos has with price hikes, tobacco crop and overall product shortages, etc. Pretend things are somewhat normal in Habanos world. If you could add one cigar to a specific marca; what would it be? Why would you want it? What about it appeals to you? Why does the marca need this cigar? I'll go first. This has been on my mind for a while. I think the cigar the must be made is a Cohiba Perfecto. As the flagship brand it should have the most classic of cigar shapes in its' lineup. The leaf set aside for Cohiba would surely be an improvement over anything in the Cuaba lineup which IMO is just silly with all the different sized perfectos. Outside of Cuaba, there aren't really many perfectos left. Since the vitola requires expert rollers, the appeal of one in the Cohiba lineup makes sense. And, perhaps it could lead to the axing of Cuaba. Which I would personally not miss. I do enjoy a few cigars in the lineup but the marca has very little mindshare with me overall. The Cohiba Perfecto, should have a strong/bold blend and come in 10 counts if longer than a Churchill or cabinets of 25/50 if the RG were ~ 40/42 and the length shy of 5 inches. Here's a mockup I did a while back for fun. So, what is your candidate for a cigar Habanos must make?
Popular Post jakebarnes
The Por Larranaga Corona Gorda. 25 ct. slide top cabinet presentation. We'll call it the León in homage to the lions in the cigar box painting. Similar blend to the plpc, coming in with perhaps a little more body. Long term aging potential is the goal here. Edit: really like your idea @Puros Y Vino.
Popular Post MrBirdman
I would take any one of the following: 1) QDO Corona Gorda or Laguito Especial 2) Ramon Allones Dahlia 3) Punch Corona/Lonsdale 6
RDB
Easy: a Monte Hermoso #4 in classic blend. I’d smoke a lot of those. Or any LGC in a larger size but with the classic blend.

Popular Post Ford2112
We need longer and thinner cigars. I would love a San Cristobal 8-9-8. And an RG 898. RA 8-9-8. VR ...you get my drift. 8

Capn_Jackson
I wish there were a Bolivar Corona Gorda. Supposedly there will be one released next year as an LCDH. Who knows if I’ll be able to get my hands on any, but I’ll be interested to see how they fare. I could also go for a HdM pyramid. I’d be intrigued by a Juan Lopez petit Corona, too. I know there used to be some, discontinued a few years ago. Bring it back!

Low
What I've really wanted for years is the embargo to end so we can see what all of the master blenders in the NC world can do with cuban tobacco. I think the flavor combinations would be wild, and getting some leaf into a talented young blender like Nick Melillos hands would push my excitement to the max, as I'm a huge Foundation fan boy. If I have to stick with just cuban, then I'm gonna go a little off the wall and say Bolivar, Juan Lopez, and Ramon Allones should make an A. Or at the very least have Boli finally put out a DC that isn't a regional along with JL.

Resuscitating the Lonsdale (Encantos 2010/2011 - nicer varnished 898 box or the RE Alemania 2001) or the Bolivar Gold Medal or Corona Gigante (not a Lonsdale mind you) would get my vote. For that matter any Lonsdale/Daiia would be a good addition

I'm for any Romeos vitola. Love it. They'll never do a Cohiba double figurado in regular production. Classic special production cigar. Something that I'd expect to see in a commemorative humidor release. A beautiful humidor with 50 of these and 50 55 Aniversarios would sell for $50K each.

Love the Choix Supreme, wouldn't go near the Demi Tasse. As a second suggestion, I'd go for the San Luis Rey Dalias also - that blend is so sweet.

Justins123
I just want some combination of lonsdales and coronas back. If I had my pick: RA coronas, Punch coronas, Boli lonsdale, RG lonsdale, Partagas lonsdale.
Popular Post Hammer Smokin'
I'm on the same page. Lonsdales and dalias in QDO, LGC, Hoyo, Diplomatico..... instead folks are sitting around the table going...can we get away with an 8" 64RG cigar? Let's put two bands, a band on the foot, put it in needless packaging and charge $60+/stick. everyone jumps up, high fives, and goes for lunch.
