Popular Post cigaraholic Posted October 3, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2022 Past weekend was a 2 day party for me, already had this torpedo loaded in the tubes and ready to fire. Smoked this in the calm before the champagne storm. This is my second time smoking one of these, as I remember the first one was a little disappointing, it’s probably been a couple of years to fire #2. Smooth dark colorado wrapper, decently filled @15.3g, draw is open with flavors of coffee and lemongrass....it’s a real one👻 Opening puffs taste like a cappuccino with cocoa, cinnamon and nutmeg sprinkled on top. Smoke is velvety soft and vanilla creamy, it’s a spice bomb on the tongue. It settles into toasted tobacco, coffee, baking spices and white pepper. Body is a little under medium, I’m being very gentle puffing because the draw is open. 2/3 It’s still a spice bomb with toasted tobacco, cocoa and a hint of caramel. 3/3 it’s come up a little to just over medium body and is all spice and cedar. First two thirds were delicious, last third was disappointing for me, like it ran out of gas. For me, not according to HSA, this cigar was under filled. The tobacco in the cigar was fantastic, I just needed a little more in there to tighten up the draw and give me a little more body. At least the rest of the cigars in my box are heavier, looking forward to firing a torpedo with a little more TNT. 8
oneizzzz Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Thanks for this review @cigaraholic. How do you find the HSA standard weights for their cigars?

Edicion Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Nice review. I've always found them to have a very good draw, and smooth and mild overall. I usually try to cut it as little as possible which does give it a tighter draw. Wish I had more!
cigaraholic Posted October 5, 2022 Author Posted October 5, 2022 I don’t expect to be sip-puffing on a cigar of this size, for me that’s just not right. Under filled cigars are like drinking lite beer. I’m sure the ones I have over 17g will put a bigger smile on my face.
