Adisaputra Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I’m still confused about where’s the best location to put the hygrometer in a walk in humidor. I have 2 calibrated hygrometer and each one can show different readings when placed in different shelves. A bit annoying for my OCD’s 😅 Any input is highly appreciated. 1
El Presidente Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I have three in my walk in and they all read within +/- 2 % of each other. To be fair, that is about as good as you are going to get in a decent size walk in. I used to be anal about RH. These days if it is in the ball park I am fine but I trust my touch far more than I trust my hygrometers. 3
Adisaputra Posted October 1, 2022 Author Posted October 1, 2022 Thank you @El Presidente. The problem is I need to adjust my humidifier and sometimes if I use hygrometer A as a benchmark, then the reading in hygrometer B can be too high, vice versa 🤦🏻♂️. Again thanks for your insight. Highly appreciated 🙏🏻
BossHogg Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Like @El Presidente, I too have three in my walk in. One on each tier. The top is always the highest read out and will step down in humidity usually by 1% each level down. I use Govee hydrometers.
