I’m curious if these obvious fakes that there seems to be an endless stream of actually sell on these auction sites.

*Wood duck is slang for sucker. Not sure if that is just Aussie slang specific

Probably. Up here in North America it is an actual duck

New Canadian dissuasive packaging ploy? - doesn't actually say what variety of Cohiba they are thus causing confusion and putting customers off the purchase. Clever.

Odd to me that it has a Canada duty paid stamp affixed. There's only one distributor / importer for HSA in Canada, so I don't know how another distributor / importer would have been able to bring these in as a registered product with the Can Fed Gov. 

Unless the tax stamp has been faked in which case, oh boy that would be fun to report. 

Reviewing the tax stamp it does not appear to be legitimate. It's close, but not quite correct. The penalties are pretty severe if they get caught.

There used to be a Canadian site where you could buy all the Cuban bands "raw“  as well as Canadian tax stamps, labels, etc.  Can't remember for the life of me.
