Cuba guarantees personal data protection to its citizens Havana, Sep 1 (Prensa Latina) The Law No. 149 "For the Protection of Personal Data" currently guarantees the Cubans control over their data and prevents any invasion in the transfer of their personal rights, intimate or not. gustavehenne Posted September 1, 2022 Share Posted September 1, 2022 Whilst I agree with the general principle it does feel like Cuba has more important issues to sort out right now other than what data exists on them. I'd be interested to see how a data access request is served and executed and indeed what the recourse for failure to provide the data is... In order to serve such requests it requires effort into the structure of data and the ability to go through data and ensure that data can be extracted and presented...
