2006 Serie du Conneisseur #1. Honestly wasn't expecting much as I'd been afraid to smoke one and wondered if they were past their prime. Almost burned by fingers by the end. Absolute treat. Bring em back!

Close second: 2019 Lusitania. Edged out, but I can't stop thinking about the SdC 1.

03 Party Presidente. Still plenty strong but refined and smooth. Very complex. Easily in top 10 I have smoked in 22

Easily a Monte Dumas with a friend to celebrate their recent marriage. Fantastic cigar that makes me dread to think how much I'll be spending when they next come up!

Trinidad Topes 2019 after a heavy heavy lunch and few drinks. Surprised it was it, but it was indeed. And spent most of the month back home smoking like there’s no tomorrow

My best smoke was a Cohiba Robusto I had on my birthday. I have in the neighborhood of about 50 Cohibas of various vitolas saving them for special occasions

Upmann No.2 - The first Upmann I've smoked in a long time after losing interest in the brand 3 or 4 years ago. It was mind blowing good, solid 99 if not 100 point cigar.
Not just the best cigar of August, but easily of the year, needless to say my interest in H.Upmann is back. 🤗

Haven't smoked many beacuse the heat/humidity here in Georgia this time of year will melt your soul. This was the one that came to mind for me. As much as I want to dislike them due to hype/availability, they're just damn good. Really damn good.

A Lusi, PSD4 and CoLa were exceptional, but this BBF (UMR ABR 21) was a near perfect mix of cream, chocolate and Guinness.

RASS MSU NOV 18. This box has been up and down, but this one was the best cigar of August—better than a 2017 Siglo IV, a good D4, some good PLs, M4s, and more.

#1 was a LUB 14 Upmann 2 - an eye opening experience.

and the surprise runner up was a RASS from a TUA OCT 21 cab I got on 24:24. OUTSTANDING smoke.

My Father La Opulencia Robusto

My friends smoke bad cigars, Factory Smokes, CAO, Acid, Rockey Patel etc. This isn't a knock on them since that's what they enjoy, but I always receive some crazed looks when I give flavor notes of a non infused/more premium stick. I was finally fed up and decided to have one of them try my smoke when it hit a particulary flavorful spot. I know its bad etiquette to share cigars in this way, but we've known each other for 15 years and live together, so who cares. Gave him instructions on retrohaling, and the tongue at the top of the mouth trick. His eyes immediately light up cause he finally understands, starts laughing, and spurts out "coffee bean, 50% chocolate, not quite caramel but toasted sugar". 

This has been my favorite moment cause it felt like I'd opened up a whole new world for someone to experience. Plus, now when I say Cuaba Divinos taste like unsweetened peanut butter, they won't look at me like I have 2 heads.

Had a few cracking Hoyo Rio Secos recently. Sep 2021 so less than a year on them but they seem to deliver every time. The last third is however unsmokeable.

Monte Cristo Double Edmundo, ULE MAY 15.  Not a good month for cigars. Too hot and way to humid.

Right now I am smoking a JL2 from a UTL Feb 2018 box--and it is amazing--best of the month for sure.     These have hit "prime time".

I have that cab of RASS as well. Very excited to hear that those are going well right now. Still have a dress box that I am working through (JUN 21 TUA) but might have to check in on the cabinet soon...

Noice!  Had a few SdC3 from 07 in August and all were fantastic.  Still packing a solid punch.  Other standouts: 2017 RyJ Churchill, LGC Orgulloso, SP Gran Quxiote, 2019 CoRo tubos.
