Cigar-Therapy
In my last review I touch on the acquisition of these cigars. After ditching the previous cigar, only slightly past the mid way point. I pull out the Finch Toro. It has a beautiful Sumatra wrapper that I hope would deliver. Spoiler Alert… it didn’t. On light up - the flavors are tobacco, white pepper, and a hint of woods. I’ve watched some reviews on this before hand and it states creaminess. I didn’t get any of that, it wasn’t rough - but the flavor profile never brought in cream for me. Then again, when my baseline for cream is Monte 1 or H. Upmann Connie 2… I always doubt a NC is going to hit those notes. I smoke half the cigar before pitching it… then wash it down with cheap brandy before going to bed. Blackbird - for me - was two swings and misses. 84/100
