Popular Post Boxer31 Posted August 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 20, 2022 First cigar tonight in 30 days due to Covid. Needed something dependable and delicious JL2 2019 it is 5
Chelsea8 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 My usual Saturday choice. Too bad I only have a 25 count and a half left. 1
GVan Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Absolutely an awesome CC and one of the workhorse’s of my rotation. Luckily bought 6 boxes while still cheap. At 3 years they’ve mellowed a tad and allow more flavor without sacrificing the robustness I’m fond of. I smoke the JL2s first starting at 3 years; likely won’t make 5 years before they’re gone (down to 4 boxes now). Letting the JL1s continue to age until 5 years; then I’ll start hitting them (7 boxes waiting). 3
Bendover Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Just picked up a box of 2020 . Balanced and consistent, its a cracker. Better than the PSD4, RJSC, RASS and the EP2 IMO. 2
WestCoastSmokin Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 The JL 2 hasn’t disappointed me yet! I’ve smoked 9 from my box and I keep telling myself I need to pick up another box to smoke/age. 2
Jerryvonkramer Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 I consistently get the chocolate and orange (Jaffa Cakes). My regular Robusto rotation are these, Party D4, RASS and Connie 1s. JL2 often feels like a "default" choice. Almost never disappoints.
Shakey Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 Love these and I don’t under why they have failed to get the same sort of reputation as RASS or HUC1. Guess that’s somewhat of a good thing as they tend to have better availability. 1
Jakeremus Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 Heard good things about the JL 2, going to have to get my hands on them soon!
David8406 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Had my first of these yesterday and really enjoyed it. 1st and last 3rds were fantastic. Seemed to lose its way in the middle third but it was just off the truck and probably just needs a few weeks of rest. Highly recommend!
