But there are few celebrities in MJs class. Got to smoke a cigar upstairs at Ditkas restaurant in Chicago with the mustached man himself at the table next to me. Most of the evening was him and his son yelling at each other. It was hysterical. He was a blast to chat with. Also, back in the day when I lived in East Michigan, I belonged to Indianwood Country Club and usually smoked a cigar with the guys who’d show up for an evening cocktail in the Mens Grill. Half the Redwings and Pistons would make an appearance in there it seemed. Also got to meet Gordy Howe twice, once at Indianwood, and the other when visiting Oakland Hills where he belonged, which was a highlight for me. Mr Hockey is immortal for people from Michigan. I smoked a cigar with Chauncey Billops when I played a round of golf with him in Maui a few years back at the Royal at Kaanapali. Dude couldn’t keep his driver on the planet but ripped his long irons all day off the tee. Very competitive, very fun dude, excellent trash talker, and didn’t like me beating him. 3

A cousin of mine was a waiter at a Capital Grill (retied now) that was on the way home from Boston Garden and Fenway Park for most of the players. They'd all stop there on after games. Just about every pro athlete in Boston knows my cousin and would give him cigars. Not to mention just other well off's that enjoy cigars and know he likes them too.
Carrie Nation Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 The Casa in Milan is a disgrace. Stacks and stacks of empty boxes in the humidor, a pittance of singles, and the few full boxes they do have are of odd sizes. This has been the case for at least the last five years, way before the global shortage. And they've been carrying non-Cuban cigars for many years now, namely VegaFinas. Technically, the store no longer qualifies as a LCDH, as it doesn't meet criteria. Hopefully, Michael Jordan was there to revoke their Casa status and turn them into a Habanos Point. 3 1

The shop is in very sad state overall. Stock is way better now compared to few months ago. NC cigars are now setting on more shelve space. I found this box of Cohiba, any info on the sticker? 2 1
