I got to thinking about this the other day. I am still not quite sure how it happened, but I know it was the indirect result of a Google search. For some odd reason, I was searching for Cuban cigars on the net. Why, I do not know; I hadn't smoked a Cuban cigar in well over 12 years. Anyway, I remember visiting two sites in Switzerland and another in Hong Kong. Then I visited Cigar-Czar. And as they say... the rest was history!

Friends of Habanos... nothing like it on the web!

Okay Rob, how was that? (The things one does for free shipping. :-D )

I was already doing some bussines with Rob and he told me about the new forum he was setting up. Great fun loving bunch here.

Similar to you, I "found" Cigar Czar when I was trying to source a supplier for my 24th Birthday. I was intrigued by cigars but never tried them. Didn't end up with Czar since I thought it was a online business and delivery would take awhile.

After that I have been visiting the site irregularly and finally decided to check out the forum.

Through a link from another site a few years ago. This was still the old site. I used

to enjoy the monthly stories.

Then it became Club Czar - still had watches, pens, and cigars on the same site.

One day I take a look and the forum is set up. And here we all are.

Someone on another forum spoke highly of the czar. I've been ordering from Rob/Lisa for several years. I just recently noticed the link to the forum!

Hard not to find it when you get mailings 5 days a week and solicitors (I assume Smitty or Ken) calling a 10pm. I had no choice.

I had been looking for some singles, and another habanos addict suggested I try CC. I soon found that the smokes and service were first rate. This was prior to FOH, which has only served to increase the amount of my interest, business and loyalty. I am a businessman, so it is easy to recognize the genuine enthusiasm and commitment to quality at CC. Keep it up, Lisa Rob and Smitty. You're my Ozzy family!

I thought it was an extention of the Live Chat room at Cigar Czar. Before FOH, I would read and occasionally post on the chat and then one day I received an email, the rest is history.

» I think I somehow came upon this site in a state of drunken browsing. :-P

Ahh yes, drunken browsing!!!! What a find!!!! Now lets see if these next few glasses of scotch will help me find the winning lottery numbers to help pay for my hobby :-D

I was originally told about Cigar-Czar by one of the armed security guards at 'Elgin Mental Health Center' after I was admitted there for a brief stay. That brief stay actually turned out to be 9 yrs. but the time passed quickly.

I was the guard. ;-)

Actually, just another inmate, but it's amazing what can be done with a bar of soap and some quality time on your hands...

Actually, found Czar a year or two ago through a referral from a friend, and have been an occasional (now habitual) buyer ever since. As for the forum, I have been lurking around since nearly the beginning wasting perfectly good opportunities to pad my post count with fluff like this for far too long.

But I'm mending my ways now!

After a trip to Cuba a few years ago I brought a few boxes back

with me and sampled a fair few over there. So I was looking on the web for a vendor but they all seemed a bit dodgy. Then one night in a bar in Melbourne City I spotted a quite nice big humidor with a reasonable selection of cigars. I tried a Punch Punch and it was pretty bloody good. So I hunted down the owner and asked him who supplied his cigars and the rest is history. It was Clubczar back then and I learn't a lot from Rob's unbiased write-ups on the site and after sampling a lot of his singles found he was usually pretty spot on. ;-)

I asked a friend where I could buy a decent cigar in Brisbane. And he told me about this guy who had a Humidor at Merlo Coffee. I went along had a look and then Lisa gave me a business card with the website on it. After that the rest is just history.
